Saints of Somewhere
I’m co-creator and EP of Saints of Somewhere, alongside Ringan Ledwidge, Kirsty Robinson, Luke Williamson, and Amie Witton-Wallace.
The idea is simple: you can learn a lot about someone by asking them who or what they love and admire.
Host Kirsty Robinson asks groundbreaking people to talk about their “saints” - the heroes, inspirations, places and people who shaped them - and lets the story of who they are emerge through who, and what, they love.
Guests Include
Radiohead's Ed O'Brien, Irvine Welsh (author), Peter Tatchell (LGBTQ+ rights activist), Clive Stafford Smith (death row lawyer), Susanna White (director, Generation Kill), Shaun Leane (fine jeweller, longtime Alexander McQueen collaborator), Maria Semple (author, Where'd You Go, Bernadette), Zackary Drucker (trans artist, activist, producer of Transparent), Kim Chambers (world open-water swimming champion), Peter Martin (rehab pioneer), Tony Garnett (legendary film & TV producer, Kes, Cathy Come Home), Arta Dobroshi (Kosovan actress, activist, filmmaker), Des Hamilton (revered casting director), Henry Holland (designer), George Shaw (artist).
"An anti-authoritarian Desert Island Discs for Generation X."

Time for a New Season?
Saints of Somewhere was featured in The Times, British Vogue (including its Top Podcasts 2017 list), The Guardian, Evening Standard, The Observer, and more.
When we made it, podcasting was still a cottage industry. If we’d been five years later, we might have fully monetised the IP. Alas (insert 😭 emoji).
But the idea’s timeless, so maybe it’s time for a reboot.
