Good Stuff

I love to jump on board projects that put connection, equity, and compassion at the centre.

This is the good stuff that gets me out of bed in the morning.

Hard As Nails

I’m strategic and creative advisor to Hard as Nails, a science-backed campaign and research project in which men wear painted nails for a week to see whether a small, visible act of discomfort can open up conversations about mental health, empathy, and leadership that men otherwise avoid. In the 2025 pilot of 420 men, confidence to stand up for others doubled and fear of judgement halved, with 83% reporting conversations they wouldn't normally have. It was co-created by author and social entrepreneur, Sam Conniff, and founder of Token Man Consulting, Daniele Fiandaca.

In the image above men were asked, “in three words, what does being a great man mean to you?”

Hard As Nails is supported by CALM, Movember, Talk Club, and Andy's Man Club

Wisdom Within Series

Working with Xicome and The Vida Sana (the wonderful Michelle Button and Niki Shefras), I helped them develop an event series bridging Indigenous Mexican wisdom and corporate leadership, including their first cacao ceremony at KOKO - held the same week the Xicome elders opened Glastonbury.

Staying Close to the Forest

There are two ways of paying attention to the world.

You can look at a forest and see timber - something to measure, categorise, and use. Or you can experience it as a forest - habitat, relationship, atmosphere, life, possibility.

As Iain McGilchrist has said, we need both ways of seeing. The trouble starts when the first becomes the only one, and our descriptions of reality begin to replace reality itself.

The more we reduce people, places, and experiences to things we can measure, optimise, and manipulate, the further we drift from much of what makes life worth living. We've become incredibly good at making things clear. I'm interested in how we keep them alive.

In every project I do, I try to stay close to the forest.

If you want to go deeper into why it matters, especially in an increasingly artificial world, read my essay, Back to Reality.

Mentoring

For 20+ years, I’ve mentored young creatives and entrepreneurs through organisations such as 20/20 Levels, Livity, and D&AD New Blood Shift.

My folks were teachers. This feels like home.
