My role
I've worked on and off with West since 1996, helping articulate artist visions for creative, commercial, and financial partners, introducing collaborators, providing cultural and strategic research, and exploring opportunities inside and outside music.
Strategic collaboration & development
Ongoing work includes crystallising creative visions for partners, broadcasters, and financiers. Recent projects with Robert Del Naja have ranged from an AI-driven re-imagining of Strauss opera Elektra, to film and tech ideas. Music video & content (1996 - )
Worked on West projects across almost three decades. Started while at Virgin Records collaborating on Massive Attack's Mezzanine videos with the legendary Carole Burton Fairbrother, and commissioned videos for artists on Massive Attack's Melankolic label. Later co-commissioned and creatively EP'd videos including Massive Attack Voodoo in My Blood (d: Ringan Ledwidge), Come Near Me (d: Ed Morris); We Are Shining The Wheel (d: Carl Addy), Killing Me (d: Ed Morris), Road (d: Carl Addy); Mad Lifeline for Robert Del Naja's Battlebox (d: Ed Morris) and others; co-wrote and EP'd Young Fathers In My View (d: Jack Whiteley). Massive Attack won UKMVA Video Artist of the Year (2016), Young Fathers won UKMVA Video Artist of the Year (2018).
