Regular strategic creative partnership. Dave and I first worked together when he was CCO of BeenThereDoneThat. We loved the way each other’s brains whirred and have collaborated ever since.
What’s Emerged
Everything from Global Citizens' Assembly comms (including major EU assemblies on hate speech and sustainability) to working with Australian economist-intellectual, Nicholas Gruen, on his film series The Shared Centre: Awakening Our Better Angels, to strategic creative work for brands such as Unilever, YouTube, Mediabrands, iHeart, Google and many more.
As well as building brands for other people, Dave has an amazing instinct for designing and building entirely new types of companies. I helped him position Answers Are Out There (co-founded with Stela Barcelos), which brings the Citizen’s Assembly process into corporates. I’m advisor to Bubbler, "A Conversation Company", he co-founded with Gayle Troberman, a JV with iHeart Media bringing inspirational marketing podcasters and thought leadership directly into your lugholes. It’s based on the idea that, for CMOs, “if you’re not in the conversation you’re not in the game.”
Dave and I also share a strong love of posh crisps and rucking. Behave.
