Wellbeing
Some of the stuff I do doesn’t fit into a neat box, it’s just about jumping on board things that put human connection, consciousness, and meaning at the centre. This is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
The Thread
Uncertainty Experts, Citizens' Assembly work, the Rise programme I helped create with Adoreum, advisory on Hard as Nails with Sam Conniff, helping organise a cacao ceremony at KOKO with Xicome and The Vida Sanabringing Indigenous wisdom into the boardroom. They’re all different shaped projects, but express the same belief, that we have to show up and try to make each other’s lives better.
A Way of Attending
You can look at a forest and see timber, or you can see habitat - relationship, life, shelter, possibility. Same trees, entirely different reality. The timber's useful, but the trouble starts when we forget the habitat came first. When the map replaces the territory as Iain McGilchrist puts it. We’ve become so good at making things clear that we’ve forgotten to keep them alive.
In every project I do, I try to keep it connected to the forest.
If you want to go deeper on why it matters, read my essay Back to Reality.
Mentoring
For 20+ years, I’ve mentored young creatives and entrepreneurs through organisations such as 20/20 Levels, D&AD New Blood Shift, and Livity.
My folks were teachers. This feels like home.
Get in touch if you think I can help you.
