Creativeland is a pioneering brand, media, and entertainment company founded by Sajan Raj Kurup (the “creative mystic”.)

My role

I've worked with Raj since 2011, as part creative collaborator, part strategic sounding board, and part connector. I helped him crystallise the mission at the heart of Creativeland - "to unlock the human creative potential” - and now help him realise it through story and experience.

How it started

We first collaborated on the Spikes, Goafest, Campaign Media triple Grand Prix–winning, Audi Advanced State of Mind campaign, the world's first fully stereoscopic 3D campaign across all deliverables (film, mobile, web, print). We became dear friends and have worked together in many different ways ever since.

What I've done

Led research and strategic thinking for new ventures, including Equal House (a more humanistic members' club in India). Consulted with the editorial team following Raj's acquisition of Rolling Stone India, now a major cultural force. Riffed on many brand projects for Pininferina, Jio, etc. Made many London / US introductions, including to Creators Inc., now, incidentally, majority-owned by Creativeland.

What I'm up to now

Ongoing collaboration across current and future initiatives, including Creativeland Studios, providing counsel on Raj's upcoming feature film about Lord Krishna, helping to ensure the story resonates with Western, non-Hindu audiences.

I also sit on the global advisory board of Creatorland Asia, India’s first transmedia entertainment city in Andhra Pradesh, bringing together gaming, film, AI, music, brands, and education to reimagine Indian creativity and train the next generation of creators.

It's mad fun. Literally.
